18th Annual Great Harbor House Shoot-Out: March 19, 20 & 21 What began in 1992 with seven boys' teams of Jr. High School aged players has grown to become "Maine's biggest post-season basketball tournament." Division games are played in five gymnasiums throughout the community. With four divisions of play for girls and boys, this three-day tournament, our mini version of "March Madness," gives young people the opportunity to compete, excel and develop valuable life lessons and sportsmanship skills.
Harbor House seeks volunteers for this event. For more information, please contact Scott Phelps, Sports Director, at 244-3713, ext. 104 or Diana Novella, Event Manager, ext. 102.

Kid Quote of the Month: "Harbor House is so fun because I like to play in blocks. I like to learn about different stuff." _Oakley, a Pre-K Dragonfly
We have limited space in our Toddler program, but will have an open space this spring. If you would like for your little one to become a Children's Center Ladybug, give us a call at 244-9824. Click here to learn more about our new Toddler Program.
Our Busy Bees and Dragonflies continue to be active this winter. With Friday gymnastics, walks around town, aerobics in "the big room" and lots of outdoor play in our PlayGarden, everyone goes home happy and tired at the end of the day. Our teachers encourage healthy bodies and inquisitive minds in all that we do here at the Children's Center. Click here for more information about our Preschool Programs.
Please ask about our sliding scale, Helping Hand Fellowships. We are here to help make sure your young ones receive the highest quality care possible. For more information, please call Mary Ellen at 244-9824. |
